A few years ago I was commissioned to make this Ferrari Mixed Media by some friends.  It was really fun to “paint” with Tissue Paper after I had laid down an inkjet printout of a Ferrari.  This is one of the first collages I made with tissue paper as the featured material.

I tear the pieces with my fingers to get different widths and shapes and have a bowl of Elmer’s or Mod Podge (whichever I have the most of at the time).  I am working on two pieces for the July Art Walk in Seaside, Oregon the first Saturday in July.

I have been repurposing this 40 x 30 canvas with a lot of strips to make a whimsical background featuring a pile of goodies I got at a garage sale this weekend.

I have the first layout finished, and have it on my schedule to finish this afternoon.
