Tears flowed freely on Thursday as Governor Samuel Ortom attended the Mass Funeral service in honor of victims of herdsmen attack in Omusu Edumoga, Okpokwu Local Government Area of the state.

The family members of the deceased were inconsolable as their loved ones were committed to mother earth.


Recall that about 26 persons mostly women and children, were hacked, butchered and strangulated by suspected herdsmen who stormed the Omusu, Ojigo Ward of Edumoga in Okpokwu local government area of the state last Monday.

This is the second major mass burial of victims of the dreaded Fulani Herdsmen.
