10 Fun Stocking Stuffers for Kids

In my Christmas experience, Stocking Stuffers are sometimes overlooked or just filled with random last minute things picked up at the dollar store. One year my mom put in grapefruits from our tree outside. This really lowered my stocking expectations to the point where sometimes I forget about them. But not anymore!

Starting our own stocking stuffers tradition

Now that we are creating our own Christmas traditions, I’m ready to make stockings a better part of our gift giving excitement and fill them with fun things this year! I’ve assembled a list of ten Fun Stocking Stuffers that goes beyond socks and candy canes. (and grapefruits) *Any link to Amazon is an affiliate link

10 Fun Stocking Stuffers for Kids

1 – Light Saber Chopsticks

Maybe these nifty light saber chopsticks will encourage your kids to try sushi. Or may just play with their food and have mini Jedi battles. Who knows? In any case, they are really cute. Click the link above or pic below to find these on Amazon.

2 – Bird Measuring Tape by Handy Famm

Keep the kids from borrowing your measuring tape and stock their tool box with this unique tape measure specially created for kids. The body is designed in the shape of a bird’s head, with the tape measure extending from the bird’s beak like a tongue! There’s even a built-in leveler and angle finder incorporated into the bird’s rotating eyelid. This was my son’s favorite thing because he thinks it looks like a Pokemon ball. You can find these in their shop at HandyFamm.com.

3 – Bittboy Handheld Game System

The little Bittboy handheld game system was a big hit with my son this summer and the perfect size for stuffing a stocking! It has 300 retro games built in and is really easy to play. They’ve also come out with a newer, slightly larger version that can hold way more games and emulate all the game systems. Click here to find Bittboy on Amazon.

4 – Unicorn farts

It’s got unicorns AND farts, what more could you need? This Unicorn Farts stocking stuffer is both magical and hilarious. It’s really just cotton candy, but the packaging makes it so much more, lol.

5 – Holiday Eye Pop Ornaments

These are so neat! The little cards from HolidaySpecs.com are ready to stuff in stockings or use as Christmas ornaments. They turn Christmas lights into a unique 3-D illusion based on the picture on the card. So if you have a Santa, then when you look at Christmas lights, each one looks like a little Santa. You have to see it to really get it. And once you do, you’ll want to try them all!

6 – Flying Christmas Elves

My son likes any kind of projectile, so these little Flying Elves are a sure hit. They come 12 to a pack, so there’s plenty for the whole family. Everyone can get a flying elf in their stocking!

7 – Gelli Baff

This gooey Gelli Baff is a lot of fun, but don’t plan on using it as a bath time bribe! You’ll have to clean out the tub after using it. After one test round inside, we found the best way to play with it is outside in a baby pool. It’s way more fun to get messy without the messy clean-up. And of course kids love slime of all kinds!

Click here to check out our video testing out the Gelli Baff goo outside and showing how it turns back into water at the end.

8 – 3Doodler Start

The 3Doodler is a cool 3-D printing pen where kids can draw and create anything they can imagine! The cool thing about the Start Set is that the tip doesn’t get hot enough to burn you. We tried out one of the regular pen sets and the tip gets super hot! This pen is easy to use right out of the box. Just charge it up, load the plastic rods and start drawing. The box is a little big for a stocking stuffer, but you can just take out the pen and put that in the stocking. Find them on Amazon here: 3Doodler Start Set

9  – Treasure X Alien Dissection

What says Merry Christmas more than an alien dissection kit? Kids will love this gross and gooey Alien Slime Dissection kit by Treasure X as they use tweezers to pull alien parts out of alien slime!

10 – Mini Remote Control Cars

My son loves anything remote control, so I thought these little Mini RC Cars that come in cans were a perfect gift idea. They even have functional headlights and taillights!

That’s it for my 10 fun finds to stuff in your stockings this year! Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and get that shopping done early
