Interview with Dancer & Horror Actress Allie Sparks

This week I have a very special guest. The beautiful Dancer and Horror actress Allie Sparks.
She has a unique background in both dance and horror roles displayed onIMDb.comwith her work on Scathing, Drug Z, Hit Em Hard and Back to the 90’s.
Welcome Allie and thank you for joining us with this quick interview.
On a side note Allie Sparks went to High School in my home town of Land O Lakes, FL. I guess creating Horror content is something that we do here.
Let’s get this interview started.
Jonuel: What do you do when you're not acting?Allie: When I'm not acting, I'm pursuing other passions as I have several. I am a published model, singer, and performer. I dance, eat fire, do contortion, and I'm currently a resident performer at Planet Hollywood's Comedy & Dolls Show. When I'm at home, I like to read books to expand my consciousness, practice yoga, paint, and anything else that involves creativity. Oh, and I'm also a huge paranormal fanatic and frequently ghost hunt!
Jonuel: What has been your biggest achievement in the field of acting ?Allie: My most recent movie was a pretty great success. I played the lead role as Amanda in the horror film, Scathing. We instantly received worldwide distribution, and now you can find the movie at multiple outlets including Walmart, Amazon, Vudu, and EBay.Jonuel: Which is your favorite actor/actress?Allie: My favorites are always changing, but currently my favorite is Emma Roberts. She slayed her role in American Horror Story!Jonuel: What sort of acting roles will you be seeking in the future?Allie: At this point, I'm just ready for anything but horror! I've been doing so much of it lately without even pursuing it, and I really don't want to be known for just horror. I see myself doing roles similar to Angelina Jolie in Tomb Radier..that sexy badass chick. I also see myself as the next Amanda Bynes playing that dorky and silly girl next door.Jonuel: What advice do you have for aspiring actors?Allie: Just go for it! Don't sit around and wait for your dreams to happen, you must put in the effort. Take all of the acting workshops you can, take vocal classes, practice eye expression in the mirror, practice a monologue a day...do everything you can to make yourself a better actor. Even if you've been in the field for 10+ years, there is always room for improvement. Aside from training, update your headshots every six months, build your demo reel, and find the right agent to represent you.
Those were some outstanding answers. OK, it is time to unleash the Blurb. Take it away Allie!
