Jason Nolan's New EP ‘Late Night City Hawks' Is A Pleasure To The Ears

Jason Nolan is a Jazz Flautist, Singer, Songwriter and Producer with a specialty in Electric pop masterpieces who derives his influences from Funk- Disco and late 70’s pop. Nolan releases this
EP ‘Late Night City Hawks' via Majestic Records and it's a project Nolan describes as “about feeling smothered by a metropolis and generally about how much the environment you surround yourself in can completely steer your ambition and behavior."
The EP is a combination of slick vocals, a creative use of musical genres, and mind-bending beats.  This was preceded by the third release from the album, ‘Palma Fauna’, a quirky song which showcases the multi-instrumentalist’s grasp of setting an ambient mood. Nolan’s soulful overtones are succeeded by the mid-tempo synths, disco-like rhythms, harp and flutes and chirruping background vocals. Each song takes the listener on an eclectic and mysterious world of jazz, Flute, Synth and pop.
The songs are a pleasure on the ear and leave you tapping your foot and humming their catchy tunes. The ears are taken on a dreamlike journey through Jason Nolan’s ability to keep them floating on clouds.
