Long before I ever had a boyfriend, I had my close girl friends with whom I spent every holiday, including the dreaded Valentine’s Day, but instead of dreading it, we all looked forward to a fun lunch where we exchanged gifts. I’m so thankful we had each other to turn around this cheesy holiday and, to be frank, I really kind of miss those days. Valentine’s Day is much less exciting now that I’m in a relationship than it was when I was single. Hilariously enough, it seems like the world is coming around to our idea which they’ve dubbed as “Galentine’s Day” thanks to Leslie Knopes and which urban dictionary says is “the other half of Valentine’s Day where you celebrate your love for your lady friends.” I’m beyond happy that this is becoming a thing because I think it’s a hell of a lot more fun (and easy) to pick out something pretty and pink for my lady friends than it is to figure out which electronic device my boyfriend wants this month. I think guys could celebrate this with their friends, too, if they wanted, but I’m not sure what they would call it – Guyantine’s Day? It doesn’t have quite the same ring to it, does it? Whatever, you want to call it, I’m all for it! Since I’m all for the love and celebration of Galentine’s Day, however you want to do it, I came up with my picks for this fun holiday in my Romantic Galentine’s Day Gift Guide. These gift ideas are all adorable, fun, and will help you and your friends treat each other to some adorable gifts ♥
