• When you think of a classic, vintage look, there are a few versions that may come to mind. The first is a classic black eyeliner cat eye and a red lip. The other is a more vintage, shabby chic feel with almost no makeup and with light pink lips and cheeks. Try whatever you are in the mood for and what feels best for your date night.

Rock a Bold Lip

• Before you put on a bold lip color, make sure your lips are on point. Use a lip scrub to get rid of excess dead skin cells and flakes. Then use a thick, hydrating lip balm or cream. Let it soak in as you get ready and do your lips last. When your lips feel ready, go for an enchanting, bright color! If you have fair skin, try a classic red lip to stand out from the crowd. If you have medium or olive skin, try a bright, vibrant pink color. If you have dark skin, try rocking a purple lip! Remember to tone down the rest of your makeup if you choose a bold lip for the evening to avoid looking like a clown.

• Valentine’s Day is a great day to play around with glitter or shimmery makeup. A little glitter or shimmer looks amazing around your eyes or as a highlighter. You could also try a glittery or metallic lip to get even more shimmer. Just don’t glitter bomb your entire face or you could look a little silly.
