How to Build Resilience: A Discussion

How To Build Resilience: A Discussion

“Challenges are what make life interesting. Overcoming them is what makes life meaningful” – Joshua Marine

Resilience isn’t a static state of being but rather a dynamic learning process, and everyone has something to gain no matter what our individual life story is. We can draw on our strengths and build a greater reserve to cope with setbacks and to gain a more positive and optimistic mindset.

Have you ever wondered:

What is resilience and how can I harness it to help me get through my day?
How can I find resilience, even on days when I feel like I have nothing left?
Is there a difference between resilience and grit?
Am I holding onto my emotions too closely and just pushing through difficult situations, rather than experiencing difficult moments and growing from them?
Is resilience more important than happiness?

Resilience helps our hearts and minds renew and restore, which offers our bodies so much possibility for added health and strength. Join us at Yinova Brooklyn Heights on January 29th at 6:30 pm as we discuss the importance of building resilience and learn how to harness that strength with renowned therapist Jan Yaffe.

This discussion will cost $20. To attend, please reach out to our Brooklyn Heights front desk team: [email protected] or 718.928.6533
