I'm off to the sunny white isle of Ibiza on Sunday and excited is an understatement. I have been packing my suitcase for at least two weeks trying to decide what to take, as I only have a small suitcase allowance and I'm a girl who loves her fashion and wants to take her whole wardrobe! I am travelling with two airlines: Jet 2 and Ryanair who's luggage restrictions are slightly different but It's fine because I'm all prepared with my day and night outfits whilst not forgetting the accessories!
Ibiza Day Outfits
When I first spotted this Boohoo ruffle top in the petite section on ASOS I couldn't believe it was only £10! What a bargain! It's perfect for pairing with denim shorts (Topshop) and sandals (Peacocks).
Pineapple prints are everywhere right now, just looking on Boohoo alone they have over 60 products! This beach playsuit is perfect for throwing on over my bikini and super light for the 30 degree heat! The sandals are from Matalan are look really cure paired with the playsuit.
I am packing some extra tops to wear with my denim shorts. These include a paisley lace up bodysuit and a khaki tassel bralet both from Boohoo. YES most of my holiday wardrobe is from Boohoo, they have loads of amazing clothing!
Ibiza Night Outfits
For the evening I'm taking with me a couple of options, as I know I will change my mind when I arrive in Ibiza. This gorgeous floral plunge playsuit is from Boohoo at ASOS and at just £10 I immediately snapped it up. I will style it with my La Redoute wedges.
I have posted this lace outfit before on my Instagram but still haven't got round to wearing it so a trip to Ibiza is definitely the perfect opportunity. The lace crop top was a sell out at H&M and the silk skirt is from Missguided. I love it when you can pair two items of clothing from totally different stores.
Crop tops are an essential when going out in Ibiza because I know it’s going to be so hot! This floral tie crop top from New Look at ASOS (£15.99) looks super cute over this blue leather skirt also from New Look. The white mules are super low so will stop me falling over when I have one too many!
Obviously having a small case means a limited amount of shoes but I have a plan! I'm going to pack two pairs in my beach bag that I am taking on as my hand luggage. I have La Redoute black wedges for the evening and the pool party, H&M white mules also for the evening and then rose gold pool slides for the day!
I've already mentioned this Vacay Beach Bag from South Beach which also comes in bright pink, but I have not talked about the summer essential: the floppy hat. This "Hello Sunshine" hat is from Tu Clothing at Sainsburys and only cost me £6!
You can't go to Ibiza and not add some glitter and sparkle! I picked up some body glitter from Primark (£3) and some gold stick on body tattoos from TK Maxx which will perfectly match my South Beach gold swimsuit. The white Topshop choker will go with lots of my evening outfits, plus it has hints of gold too.
Tips for packing light
- Pack ahead and make a list so you know you have everything.
- Roll your clothes instead of laying them all flat.
- Take a few essential like camis and shorts so you can mix and match.
- If you're in a big group work out who is bringing hair appliances and check if the hotel has a hair dryer.
- Take a pair of comfortable shoes as you never know when you might be walking far
- Put your shoes in your handbag to make room in your case.
- Instead of taking liquid foundation buy a creamy based version, its not classed as a liquid and is not restricted by the 100ml liquid in hand luggage rule!
- Opt for a two in one shampoo and conditioner
These are just some of my outfits I'm taking, keep an eye on my Instagram for more!
