Highlighted Hair is easy to create, just follow these simple instructions. Start with clean dry hair.

Step 1. To Highlight your Hair, carefully brush your hair away from your face.

Step 2. Place the highlight cap on your head tightly from the crown area and tie under the chin. Top Tip: To aid removal of cap, sprinkle a light cover of talcum powder inside and remove excess.

Step 3. With the hook provided proceed to pull the strands through the pre-pierced holes. Start with the lowest rows as a guideline. Top Tip: For fine highlights pull hair through every hole, for chunky highlights, pull hair through every other hole.

Step 4. When you have pulled all the strands required, comb through carefully.

PREPARING THE MIXTURE

Top Tip:  Apply an even amount of petroleum jelly on the edges of your ears and all around the hair line to help protect your skin

ALWAYS WERE PROTECTIVE GLOVES Mix Lightening Powder and Developer Cream into your mixing bowl and blend thoroughly into a creamy paste, follow the manufacturers guidelines. Once mixed use immediately - never store mixed product

Step 5. Put on the gloves and proceed to mix the highlight cream. Apply using the brush to the top area.

Step 6. Then apply row by row to the back and sides.

Step 7. Keep working your way evenly row by row until all the hair is covered.

Step 8. Wait for your full personal development time then rinse with warm water until it runs clear. To

HAIR LIGHTENER FOR SEMI-PERMANENT COLOURS

Smart Highlights is the ideal product for lightening hair in preparation for semi-permanent vibrant or pastel colours such as Smart Colour & Pastels.  It is important to obtain a very light or light blonde shade to achieve vibrant results. If using on dark hair, two applications maybe required, leave 24 hrs between applications and take care not to over process your hair.

For section/streaks hair effect, follow the highlighting instructions, then simply apply your vibrant of pastel hair colour to the highlighted section as describe in their instructions.
