We kid you not, it’s officially Chocolate Cake Day! Could this be arguably the best day of the year? If not, it’s definitely the best day in January! As massive chocolate lovers, we, of course, love a generous slice of cake. But lately, we’re all about the brownies. They’re the ultimate indulgent treat, which is sometimes well needed! Check out this tasty brownie recipe. You can even go along with it as a cake. Just cut into triangles rather than squares and voilà!
110g melted butter
300g caster sugar
170g melted chocolate
3 medium eggs
25g cocoa powder
140g of flour
50g dark chocolate chips
¼ teaspoon of salt
Preheat the oven to 180c
Line an 8″ baking tin
Melt butter and chocolate together and allow to cool slightly
Add sugar and combine
Secondly, eggs and combine
Add cocoa powder
Fold in flour & salt and combine
Add the chocolate chips and mix them by using a spatula.
Pour the mixture into the tin and spread it out evenly using a spatula, making sure evenly spread
Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the brownies have a slight crust on top.
Leave the brownie to cool in the tin before cutting it up into squares to serve.
