Here at Littlewoods Ireland HQ, we’re massive hot Chocolate fans. But we’ve decided to go an extra mile with our this year, these little touches to your hot chocolate make it taste even more festive! Choose your favourite from Salted Caramel, Chocolate Orange and Oreo hot chocolate. We’re too excited to snuggle up on the couch, with a delicious hot chocolate in one of our favourite mugs – we love these Mr & Mrs ones!
Hot Chocolate 3 Ways
Hot Chocolate Ingredients
for 2 servings
- 400 ml whole milk
- 100g dark chocolate finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon drinking chocolate
- 1 tablespoon caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Garnish One:
Salted Caramel
- Whipped cream
- Caramel sauce/caramel chunks
- Dark chocolate shard
- Topped with a sprinkle of a pinch of sea salt
Garnish Two:
Chocolate Orange
- 1tsp of orange extract
- Whipped cream
- Dark chocolate shard
- Orange zest
Garnish Three:
Oreo
- Two Oreo cookies crumbled
- Whipped cream
Preparation
- Heat your milk in a saucepan, as soon as milk is simmering take off the heat
- Add hot chocolate mixture into a bowl
- Add the hot milk to the chocolate mixture and stir continuously until chocolate is fully melted and combined
- Pour into cup and top with one of our delicious topping choices
- Snuggle up and enjoy!
