I left my heart in San Francisco! San Francisco holds such a special place in my heart as I spent many years finding great eateries and getting acquainted with all its charm. I have to say that because of San Francisco I made life-time friends. I can’t say that moving to a new city and making new friends is easy because it’s completely the opposite as it requires patience and a bit of socializing skills. A few great ways I found to make it easier are to get to know your co-workers outside of work, who knows you might have hobbies in common or chances are they can recommend you to; great workout classes, coffee shops or even great places to eat and drink where your bound to meet more people.
A few of my morning go-to places when I’m in town are:
- The Ferry Building – It simply lures you in with its fresh bread and cupcake smell! As vendors set up for the day, I tend to wonder and pick up treats for an anticipated mid-afternoon caffeine crash. If you’re lucky you’ll catch the Farmers Market and you might find amazing goodies and honestly, who can resist.
- Blue Bottle Coffee – A morning must for me! Its has a lovely view of the bay bridge and what better way to wrap up a walk through the ferry building than sipping a latte.
- La Boulange – Is one of my guilty pleasure of the city. I love pastries and they have hands-down the best almond croissants that I can eat for days.
Stay tuned as I share a more of the places I frequent. Have you tried any of these local spots? I’d love to hear from you.
