Getting Naked - Urban Decay Naked Palette Review

Tags: palette

So a couple of months ago I finally managed to pick up the coveted Urban Decay NAKED Palette, a Palette I've been lusting over since it came out (how I managed to go this long without it is beyond me). For the first month of Naked palette ownership I didn't even put a brush near it, one - because I was too scared to wreck it, and two - I didn't think I had a need for it. But oh how wrong I was, this palette is perfect for literally every day. From under brow highlights using 'virgin' or 'sin', to sultry smokey eyes using 'creep' and 'gunmetal', this palette is absolute goals.

NAKED Palette - Urban Decay
Price: $83 from Mecca
Pigment: This palette is hands down, 100%, absolutely one of the most pigmented eyeshadow palettes I've ever used. If pigment is what you want, this palette is what you need.
Packaging: Unlike the other Naked palettes, which are packaged in metal, the original comes boxed in a gorgeous velvet palette, complete with a mirror and a brush (not pictured because it's in my brush roll, which was too far to walk). I absolutely adore this packaging, way more than the other Urban Decay palettes actually.
Product: The formula with this palette is spot on for pigment, blendability (is that a word?), colour and all-round palette-ability (definitely not a word). Urban Decay absolutely killed it with this palette, which is probably why it's still coveted after all these years. This palette is a perfect go-to palette with pinks, coppers and greys, which makes it great for a day-to-night look and as a travelling companion.

If you haven't already got your hands on this palette you definitely should, because it's pretty much my favourite part of my entire makeup collection, which means it must be good.

Stockists:
