In recent months there has been a crazy amount of hype around the Dyson Supersonic, the $700 hairdryer that’s meant to ‘change the world.’ Obviously, something with this much media attention has sparked my interest, which means I did a butt-load of research to give you the 411 on all things Supersonic.

From the geniuses who’ve mastered the art of vacuum cleaning, this handy hair dryer is slimmer, lighter and quieter than its competitors. The major selling point for this new-age heat tool, apart from its sleek, modern design, is it’s near-silent motor, which means you can finally have a deep and meaningful chat with your hairdresser while getting your blow dry.  Whats more, Dyson’s new creation is also better for your hair, leaving it drastically less damaged and shinier than a conventional hairdryer (score!).
