Being in exotic, foreign places is fun. Travelling? Not so much, especially when you're a beauty hoarder and practically need an entire suitcase for your cosmetics alone. But your travel beauty essentials really are essentials - unless you want dry, traumatised skin.

Before Your Flight:
- Avoid wearing makeup before a long-haul flight, you may look like a slob in the airport, but your skin will thank you. If you must wear makeup, be sure to keep it minimal with a BB cream or tinted moisturiser.
- Make sure you pack travel or sample-sized beauty products - you don't want to risk getting caught out in security and having to toss your micellar water in the trash.

-  Face/makeup removing wipes - Take off your makeup/freshen up throughout the flight with some face wipes like these ones from First Aid Beauty.
