I have to contain myself and not make every single look in this collection a highlight because oh my god I Love Christopher Kane. He is by far my favourite designer, and so far hasn't let me down. Florals (specifically pansies) and gingham were the two key features of this collection, but there was also some sequin pieces.
This is definitely my favourite look from the collection. I am in love with both the leather jacket and the sheer/gingham panelled midi skirt. Also the boots. Basically I love the whole outfit and wish I could have it.
Christopher Kane is probably known for creating collages and wearable art on his work (remember that ICONIC dress from his fall 2015 collection that FKA Twigs wore at the Met Gala?), which is shown in this dress with the floral over the gingham. I also love the oversized sweater.
Slip dresses made an appearance, as they have been in most collections lately. I absolutely love this one, and even the gloves which has little flowers attached to them. I also love how he paired a delicate dress like this with ankle boots.
This is the other slip dress, which had floral panelling down the front and sides. The gloves this time are darker, still with the little flower details were also included on the bag (which I Need).
This look uses the same collage/patterns as a look above, only this time it's a two piece form. I love how the gingham is on the shoes as well.
I love sequins, but sometimes they can look a bit tacky. Thankfully they definitely don't here. And I actually love the almost grandpa esque oversized cardigan.
The sequin and sheer panelling here is similar to the panelling in the gingham midi skirt above.
"Pansies also look like they've got cheeky laughing faces. And they're all these colours because they're crossbred. And that's what I'm doing now - crossbreeding my ideas."
This dress is gorgeous and I love that he chose pansies to layer and create a piece like this. There was also a huge bag in the shape of a pansy which was so cool. The colours and shape are just so interesting and beautiful.
This look is something I would wear in two seconds. I love everything about it, especially the silver, kind of holographic oversized jacket. Someone please buy this for me. Please.
