I've been looking few new, cheap makeup brushes for a while now and came across the website iHerb.com, which sells both Ecotools and Real Techniques (brands that I know I love) for a discounted price. However, with every new online store I discover, I'm weary about ordering anything, let alone big, expensive orders, so I opted to just buy a little mini sized set of Ecotools brushes (which included a fluffy/powder brush which is what I originally wanted). It also helped that you get $5 off your first order, which took the set down to around $6 including postage, and with every order you get 10% credit to use on your next, not too bad, right?
The website sells everything from makeup and skincare to vitamins and, obviously, herbs at a discounted price, though I personally don't trust online stores with anything like vitamins or food, I'd rather buy that in person from a store I know I can 100% trust with the product. As I only ordered makeup brushes, I can't say much for the quality or if the makeup is genuine, so my thoughts are based solely on this one purchase.
I made my order on the 5th of May, and it arrived on the 17th, so it didn't take too long but wasn't super fast either. I was given a tracking number which I found on my iHerb profile, but when I entered it on the Australia Post Tracking site, it came up saying that it was an invalid tracking number, meaning I couldn't see where my order was or when it would arrive. This gave me the impression that either my order wasn't tracked at all, or that there was some kind of typo in my tracking number. Either way it made me worried about whether my order would actually arrive or not.
When my order finally came, it was packaged in a huge box (I'm not posting a picture of it because my address was all over it) with plastic wrapping to protect my items. The brushes were exactly as pictured on the site, and were definitely ecotools products.
