February Favourites

I have to say February has been a busy month, I’ve had assignments for the final year of my degree, various hospital and doctor appointments and I’ve been absolutely exhausted, also at one point my skin had a major breakout where it became spotty and dry and extremely sensitive and sore, so I’m pretty happy to see the back of this month. I did mention previously that I was due a surgery which was cancelled so this week I’m due my surgery, fingers crossed it will happen, but for now here’s my February Favourites.

I have one haircare favourite this month and that is the Tresemme Renewal Scalp Shots I tried one of these early this month and it felt really lovely, it definitely nourished my hair and kept it really shiny and health perfect for a little pick me up for the hair, plus it doesn’t require as much patience as a full hair mask. I really enjoyed using this.

I also have a skincare favourite, as I mentioned my skin had a huge temper tantrum this month and ended up in an absolute state, there were various products that I used but I decided to try the La Roche Posay Toleraine Fluid which claims to soothe sensitive skin and it really helped to take down the inflamation it was literally the only thing that stopped my face from hurting so much and I’m so glad that I had this to hand.

I have three makeup bits that I’ve enjoyed using this month and two of them are by Maybelline. Up first is the Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm in Pink Punch when I first got this I wrote it off pretty quickly as it felt almost drying but since using it a bit more it;s become a lot easier to use and it smells lovely, nourishes my lips (they were seriously dry and this fixed them) and it adds a blue toned pink tint to the lips. I’m a huge fan of the Baby Lips range and I definitely need to pick up some more as this is the only one I have left. The other product that I’ve been enjoying is the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara I’ve been using this nonstop all month and I really like it. It lengthens and volumes my eyelashes but doesn’t make them clump and the wand is small enough that I can use it on my bottom lashes as well. I really am a fan.

My final favourite (I don’t have too many this month) is the Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream in Addis Ababa I’m slightly disappointed that this isn’t as pigmented as it appears in the tube but other than that this formula is great. It feels nice on the lips, it stays in place and fades evenly with no patchiness plus it smells nice and is easy to use I can see why these are so popular. I’d really like to pick up some more in different shades but I’m a definite fan of these.

That concludes this favourites post it’s quite short and sweet but I’ve just not had a lot of favourites this month.
