Blogger Enabled Purchases #2

Last week was a super stressful week however, I’m pleased to say I’ve officially moved and I’m back to creating content! This week I thought it would be fun to share some of my previous purchases that were enabled from bloggers. I’ll freely admit I read a lot of beauty blogs and my wishlist is probably a mile long, so without further ado here’s what I’ve bought courtesy of you!

1) Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz £22.00 (Beauty Bay)
This one is a bit of a cheat as this was bought for me as a gift, but I wanted this for a very long time after seeing so many bloggers use it.  At the moment I’m using the Dipbrow Pomade but I actually prefer the Brow Wiz, it’s easy to use works for my brows and doesn’t look too obvious. I saw so many bloggers and vloggers talking about this and for good reason because it’s great – this has become my favourite brow pencil to date.

2) Barry M Gelly Hi Shine in Blueberry £3.99 (Boots)
I remember my first beauty haul, I’d googled what makeup to buy and stumbled across a Zoella video. One of the products she hauled was this nail polish which I decided was gorgeous. This was the first Barry M product I bought and I fell in love. Even now I adore the Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint range and Blueberry is quite possibly my favourite nail polish shade of all time. Not only is the cornflower blue shade gorgeous, but this always takes me back to when I first started blogging.

3) Bourjois Little Pot Blush in Rose de Jaspe £7.99 (Look Fantastic)
I’ve seen a whole host of bloggers and youtubers using this and in particular I remember watching Gabrielle (Velvet Ghost) use this. I had this on my list for ages but finally ended up picking it up recently and it is stunning. I love the shade, I love the formula and I love the shimmer, this makes me feel amazing when using it. Definitely a worthy purchase!

4) L’oreal Fibrology Shampoo and Conditioner £4.99 (Boots)
My hair is very fine so the idea of having thicker, volumised hair really appealed to me. I saw Khila from Miss Budget Beauty and Fleur from Fleur de Force both talking about this and I quickly decided I needed it in my life. This was one of my most recent purchases and I’ll be honest, I don’t like the Fibrology range! This dries my hair out massively and I don’t see much more difference other than more baby flyaways!

5) L’oreal Lumi Magique Primer £10.99 (Feel Unique)
I was desperately in need of a primer and when I was browsing the aisles of Boots I remembered Sara Bailey from Glitter Lips Beauty raving about the L’oreal Lumi Magique Primer. I have to say I have not been disappointed with this at all, it’s a wonderful radiance enhancing primer that makes my skin looks so glowy without looking oily or glittery. Definitely worth a try if you haven’t tried it already!

6) Lush The Comforter Bubblebar £4.95 (Lush)
I was never really into Lush for a while but then one day I decided to give it a go and I haven’t looked back since. One of my first Lush purchases was the highly coveted The Comfoter Bubblebar, a product that seems to be adored by many bloggers. I have to say I get the hype, it smells good, turns the bathwater pink plus it leaves the skin so soft and smooth!

7) Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette £39.50 (Debenhams)
Side note what a price increase I remember buying mine from Urban Decay and it costing £32.00! Price aside, this was a product I never thought I’d like, pink eyeshadows weren’t really my thing back then. Eventually after seeing so many people talking about this I caved and added it to my wishlist and received it from my boyfriend one Christmas! I have to say this is fantastic, as it happens I can pull off pink eyeshadow and this palette is a stunner.

8) Nyx Soft Matte Lip Creams £6.00 each (Boots)
I remember watching Bailey Van Der Veen on Youtube and being insanely jealous that Americans and Canadians could use the Nyx SMLC’s yet in the UK they were so hard to get hold of. When they landed in the UK I bought mine from Very and quickly got the hype. I have three of these now and they’re so lovely to use, a wide array of colours, a velvet texture, matte finish and affordable price what’s not to love?

9) Origins GinZing Eye Cream £20.50 (Look Fantastic)
I’d seen a  lot of bloggers talk about the Origins Ginzing Eye Cream so of course I decided I needed it. This does have a wonderful cooling texture and it does add radiance. Having said that I can get similar results from products that cost below £20. Origins isn’t a brand I’m enamoured with to be honest their products smell quite strongly and some of them don’t really do it for me, having said that I can understand why they’re so popular.

10) Seventeen Mirror Shine Lipsticks £4.99 (Boots)
Good old Lily Pebbles convincing me – a lover of purple and bright lipsticks to try two sheer nude and pink lipsticks. But, I actually quite liked these. I bought Beehive and Belle, I since gave Beehive to my Nan who looks lovely in it, but Belle is a lovely sheer pale pinky nude that’s easy to wear and the balmy texture is quite hydrating.

So there we have it, another round of blogger inspired purchases. Do bloggers encourage you to buy products? Have you bought something you might not have otherwise bought due to reading blogs and watching videos? I’d love to know let me know in the comments!

Thanks for reading.
