None of my makeup looks are complete without a good kohl and kajal and rarely do you find a good two in one Kohl Kajal pencil. Today I will be sharing with you one of my current favorite Kohl Kajal pencils by Plum known as NaturStudio All-Day-Wear Kohl Kajal. This little magic wand is truly so amazing that I wouldn't be shocked if it turns out to be one of my holy grail products soon. Keep reading on to know why and how has this product impressed me...
Texture: In spite of being smudge-proof and water-proof this kohl-cum-liner is gentle on my sensitive eyes and it even delivers an ultra black finish in a single swipe (as pictured below). This gel based liner is made using the goodness of hydrogenated castor oil, rice bran wax, natural vitamin E. The formula is intensely creamy and glides on the lids and waterline like a dream.
Staying Power & Tests: Inspite of the product having a soft and creamy texture the staying power of this product is more than 5-6 hours. However, post 7-8 hours I have noticed slight fading that is not visible unless observed very closely. Also, I even took up a smudge test and water proof test to testify for its 100% smudge proof and 100% water proof claim. To be frank I was quite impressed to see such amazing results. I tried to smudge the kajal on its own first and then with the help of some water, after some intense smudging attempts and when my wrist slightly turned red the product still did not smudge but rather faded a bit.
Overall Verdict: All in all without a doubt one of the best kajals I currently possess as it surely does stand true to all its claims. Absolutely love everything about this product, the texture, the pigmentation, the packaging and the staying power. Hope you enjoyed reading this post. Packaging: The purple with a hint of black packaging of the Plum NaturStudio All-Day-Wear Kohl Kajal is frankly very refreshing compared to most of the kohls and kajals that have an all black packaging. The product comes in an old school pencil form making it a bit inconvenient as you need to keep the sharpener with you at all time. Also, sharpening the pencil constantly causes an unnecessary wastage of the product. However, this pencil form also does support more product storage in it cause of which we get four times the product we find in normal twister kajals making the cost of this product absolutely reasonable.
