I had the honour to test four products from the brand, but I’m already thinking about what to try next from their selection. My experience was so amazing, that I feel that I’ve found some staple items for my skincare routine. So let me introduce you to Mar Galliti’s skincare range and share what I think, feel, and love about the four items I’ve tried;

My first product to try was the Blue Poppy Balancing Moisturizer, because my combined skin (oily T zone, dry cheeks) was having a dramatic moment because of the heating season during the winter. My face had all kind of issues, from redness to pimples etc. The texture of the cream, its unique colour and wonderful scent was love at first try, and after a little experimenting – it turned out to be too much for my skin during the day – I figured it is going to work as an amazing night cream for me. It moisturizes my skin well, it looks more even, and much healthier in the morning.

The Restorative Seabuckthorn Cleansing Balm was one of my favourite green beauty products in 2018. These days I’m using it every time when I need to remove makeup. It’s very gentle, yet super effective. I melt some between my palms and then massage it into my skin, after that I wipe it down with a warm, wet towel and all the makeup and dirt are gone. Its cleansing power is wonderful, and it is an amazing moisturizer too. You can use it on dry, chapped lips, on hands or even on rough skinned areas like elbows or cracked heels, it will turn everything super soft and smooth.

The Enzymatic Exfoliating Powder is a real supermix; with enzymes from pineapple and dried hibiscus particles it gently exfoliates, the rhassoul clay thoroughly cleanses, the aloe vera and the coconut milk is providing hydration for your skin. I was a bit hesitant before the first try, because its particles seemed a bit rough, and my skin is super sensitive…but for my biggest surprise, it worked wonders on my skin without any kind of irritation.

Out of the 4 products I’ve tried, the Hydro Serum was the biggest hit. I’m going to be honest, I’ve never seen a cosmetics work that well with my skin and show almost immediate results. My skin has terrible dry and itchy patches sometimes – especially in the autumn-winter period – but this product with blue chamomile & wild carrot hydrosols and antioxidants from the evening primrose oil, helped to ease the itchiness, tightness and that annoying burning feeling of my skin. My face became velvety and smooth, and there is no sign of irritation since I’m using it. It also absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave any sticky residue behind. Perfect match with me!
