The urban Lumberjack fashion craze has been around for a while, but now it’s really starting to take off. Even Business Insider has acknowledged it recently.
So what’s a man to do if he wants to get in on the lumbersexual fashion craze without looking like a cartoon character?
Don’t worry – we’re here to show you some of our favorite clothes for a lumberjack Style, and you’ll be looking more like Gaston and Paul Bunyon in no time.
Lumber Jack Shirts (Flannel!)
To start, you’ll need a flannel shirt. Any classic flannel will do, but the most common style is the red and black flannel shirt with a plaid design. Another good option is a blue lumberjack shirt. If you’re really into the style, you could get both, that way you can be a lumbersexual year-round!
Do you know where to buy flannel shirts? There are plenty of places both online in person. You can try Amazon, Ralph Lauren, and LL Bean to start. We also have the insider scoop on a new store launching soon over at Urbanbuck.com, which will curate and sell some of the coolest lumberjack gear around. Hint: sign up for their early bird list to get a discount!
Every modern man needs a good pair of jeans, and a lumbersexual is no different. Keep in mind that real lumber workers need tough denim for their jobs!
The Perfect White T-Shirt
A lumberjack t-shirt is best worn as just a plain white tee. No need for silly emblems or logos here. Manly men keep it simple and suave.
The Lumberjack Beard
No man with this style can go without a full-fledged beard. That accessory in itself has become eponymous. Keep it sexy and supple with some Lumberjack Beard oil (yes, that’s a thing!) which you can get here. Not sure how to grow a lumberjack beard? If your facial hair grows easily, you’ll have no problem just letting it grow out. If you need some help, try combining the beard oil with facial massages and vitamins for your skin and hair. Other than that, it’s just a waiting game!
Finally, you’ll need some sexy, sturdy boots to cover your tough feet and make you look and feel good. Try some trusty Dr Martens and you’ll be set.
All that will be missing is your attitude and some hot tattoos!
