We’re back from a break! I’m here today with Dee Anjani from ANJANIDEE! She’s a fashion, beauty, AND lifestyle blogger who goes to school, make Youtube videos, and works as a freelance stylist - phew! This girl can do everything. I don’t remember how we started following each other, but I notice every time she posts on Instagram. Her style stands out in a crowd of dreary minimalist style posts and samey flatlays. This girl rarely follows trends and you know I’m all about that. She’s so cute and fun to watch on Youtube! Continue reading to find out more about her blog:

What is the gist of your blog and why do you do it?

Well, I actually don’t know. My blog is a diary of my thoughts; sometimes I even put an “outfit” post and pour my heart out for the writing part. It felt wrong and unprofessional at first, but after a while, it felt so right because it’s what’s relevant to me at that point. The first thing that came to mind when I made the blog was to rant, so I posted so many stupid things. After a couple years the blog shifted from angry thoughts to random pictures that I found online and wrote about. Now, after I destroyed all the rant posts, I blog to genuinely share about life advice, product review, outfits, and random thoughts.

Who or what are your fashion inspirations?

My fashion inspiration came from Street Style, online or offline. For street style I found online, I can’t name any names, because every person has a quirk that they add to an outfit they’re wearing, even the most basic piece can look so chic. Offline, I get inspiration from around me, to be honest, from people walking by, friends, friend’s friend, and so on.

How would you describe your personal style and how was it shaped?

My trustee fashion-friend said that my style is mostly feminine and sometime sporty feminine, but I honestly don’t know. I dress according to my mood consist of mostly basics. I think I’m a chameleon.

Where do you buy your clothes? Why?

As a Uni student, I have to be really careful about my spending. So even when I shop in a “cheap” retail store, like H&M, Forever21, Bershka, and Stradivarius, I will only allow myself to buy things that’s $15 or less (so I shop like crazy on sale, most of the time). But now, thanks to you, I thrift shop a lot! It’s so fun going on a “hunt” and find unique pieces for a fraction of the original price.

Would you be a superhero or supervillain? What would your character wear?

Superhero all the way!! But I have a chronic bitch face, so I may be more of a superhero with a supervillain’s face?? What would my character wear…hmmm, interesting…I’d wear a comfy fitted onesie, so it wouldn’t take long to change when needed but I will still look at least put together.

Some of your favorite fashion blogs?

brownplatform.com by Anastasia Siantar, hippiegonemad.com by Cindy Karmoko, Song of Style by Aimee Song, and your blog! Plus so many more I couldn’t name one by one.

Recommend a movie? Song? Book? Website?

I’m more of a bookworm rather than a movie freak, so I’d recommend all books by Malcolm Gladwell! It’s so close to everyday life and it gives you better understanding to life events.
