September Favourites + Desenio Review

My first (& probably last) monthly favourites posts & a Desenio review.

Something I did want though, was inspirational quotes (& I mean really inspirational, not “you’re a unicorn, honey”, but ones that motivate) in nice typography & some mid-century style art.

Found both of these things at Desenio, & don’t worry, there’s a lot of photographs on there too for those who like that kind of stuff – & was pretty chuffed at the price to quality ratio. Their posters are definitely worth it. They’re printed on thick paper & the printing itself is pretty freakin’ great. Not to mention, they add a nice touch to our home & you know it’s real when my partner comments that they make our room feel ‘finished’.

Prints Charming

This post is in collaboration with Desenio – however, as always, all opinions are honest & my own.

Love Local Finds – loving We Are Feel Good Inc coconut sunscreen. It smells amazing, & it’s SPF 50+ which is pretty much everything I need from a sunscreen. It’s also paraben, paba, oxybenxone & preservative free too! Save your skin & the oceans.

If you could see my home, you’d probably describe me as a crazy plant lady. It doesn’t matter what type of greenery it is, if it has leaves, I’ll have it.

So it’s only natural that this theme continues on to my walls.

Probably my favourite print ever, is this mid-century Bachmanii Birds poster which fits in perfectly above my dresser. It’s quite large already but I set it in a mounted frame to make it look even bigger.

Obsessed with this white strappy bikini with tropical print bottoms – surprisingly flattering & super comfortable. The size of the top though is a bit too big for me though, so I’ll probably take it in or just wear the bottoms with a different top.

Not usually into celebrity fragrances but have been really surprised by Katy Perry’s Indi fragrance which celebrates individuality – a complex scent with sharp, citrusy top notes, a floral heart & sweet musky base. I just wish it had more staying power because I really like this one. Not to mention, the bottle itself is gorgeous.
