The sun shines, out of her… mouth

Well, not really the sun. Well kind of the sun. I did eat some sun flower crackers the other day so it’s the basically same thing.

If you’ve been reading this blog for some time now, you’ve probably noticed I’m on some sort of a Teeth whitening mission. It’s kind of a package deal when you eat enough candy a week to feed a small village.

You could even call somewhat of a teeth whitening expert since I’ve tried so many different things. Actually, no you can’t but I do know those little blue lights everyone & their dog has been using on Instagram are unsafe & it’s the bleach, not the fancy lights that actually whiten the teeth.

My most recent teeth escapade feature Opalescence Go – they’re already quite well known, but what made me want to try this one is that it’s only available at dentists, so it gives you some kind of reassurance even before you read the packet.

There’s a little booklet included with very brief instructions (in about 12 different languages) but if you can cook an omelette, you should be able to work out what to do. However, you should always read the instructions!

You just pull out a tray push it against the corresponding teeth (upper or lower – it tells you on the tray), suck in & push down lightly then pull of the green tray & you’re left with a thin white tray that doesn’t make you dribble everywhere.

It did make me gag a bit at first, but so does the doctor putting a wooden popsicle in my mouth but I got used to it pretty quickly & it’s really easy to use. Just fit it, watch Friends for the next 60-90 mins – no holding a little light with one hand – then brush your teeth! That’s really all there is to pearly whites.

So, you’re probably wondering if the product actually works? Well, have a look for yourself…

But before you scroll down, you should probably know that I’m really irregular with these types of things. You already knew that. I still drank coffee, I went days without using it (using it every day is recommended & will get you the best results but you can still use it when you just want to whiten them up quickly for an occasion or a bunch of selfies) but I think it still worked pretty damn good.

If they made a different on my teeth then I think it’s safe to say they pass the test.
