I immediately decided, when asked by Jennifer Whitehair Content Director of Vegas.com to be a part of their Las Vegas style challenge #MyCosmoStyle, that I wanted to create two effortless, yet elegant, looks that a fashionista could wear from day to night by swapping bags, shoes and accessories. I decided to create looks in a black and white palette because together both shades create the type of dynamic vibe that envelops a fashionista like a cloak of chicness. Because The Cosmopolitan, a resort hotel, is a focal point of the challenge I wanted to ensure the looks I created matched the luxurious, contemporary qualities that are represented by The Cosmopolitan.

The Cosmopolitan has the distinction of being one of the newest resort hotels in Las Vegas that has a long list of ultra-modern luxurious amenities. The name of the hotel is certainly very fitting considering the number of top-tier services the resort hotel offers. The Cosmopolitan houses luxury boutiques, restaurants, lounges, a nightclub, a few bars and of course a betting area should you wish to try your hand with Lady Luck.

My first stop were I to have an opportunity to stay at The Cosmopolitan would be The Chandelier because what’s not to like about a three story space that incorporates a cocktail area on one level, a vibrant lounge on another and a social scene on another?

As you experience the wonderful amenities at The Cosmopolitan you will want to ensure you capture the lasting memories. It is for this reason that you want to make sure you look your photographic best at all times. Ladies, below are just a few recommendations I have compiled for what to take on your Vegas trip:

Never leave home without a black and white outfit. This color duo is always elegant and suitable for any scene, day or night.

In order to make sure you look your glamorous best from day to night pack items that can be easily layered such as a blazer. A tailored blazer, such as the fitted blazer featured in the set above, pairs well with everything, will ensure you can cope with the blast of the air conditioner and keep you looking haute as the evening chill arises.

Another alternative is a fringe bolero or shrug. It is effortless to create a dramatic look in fashion-forward pieces like the bolero featured in the set below. It has a rocker vibe when paired with print pants but elevates an outfit to the glamour level when incorporated into an evening look.

Rompers, like jumpsuits, are so on-trend and can easily be dressed up or down with the perfect accessories. They are a perfect day to night transition piece for this reason. I can just picture you dancing the night away at The Cosmopolitan’s Marquee Nightclub in your chic one-piece. The romper in the set above is beyond basic due to the sheer sleeves.

If you have a trendy style, a crop-top may be more your cup of tea. A crop top in an eye-catching print is very on-point and when paired with a color-block print skirt or leather skirt is such a contemporary look. The crop-top featured further below can be paired with an asymmetrical skirt or print shorts for day and a leather high-waist a-line skirt at night to create an elegant evening ensemble.

Don’t forget to bring a bold-colored bag, a print bag or a statement-making clutch to add some sizzle to your look. If you happen to have a bag that meets more than one of these descriptions that is all the better.

Remember to bring some eye-catching jewelry to make your evening ensemble memorable. An edgy jewelry piece that is outside of the norm will make your look pop all the more.; however, if you have a more classic style, perhaps a pair of chandelier earrings and a ring with some bling suits your preferences.

It will be effortless for you to look chic throughout your vacation if you follow this formula. More of your time will be spent enjoying the amenities at The Cosmopolitan while less of your time will be spent prepping for the evening’s festivities.
