Sometimes it’s the simplest looks that get the most love. Seriously for some reason when I totally keep it simple and add a pop of color it always ends up being the most popular look I post that week. I do love this look I did with the Moonchild Glow Kit though, so I ain’t even mad about it. Plus it’s really awesome that you can switch out the colors used here and use the technique to make a huge variety of looks in just minutes of getting ready. Pew pew pew, winning!
The Moonchild Glow Kit Tutorial video is up there the post and the still shots, the products used and the rest of my favorite looks of the week are all listed below.
MUFE Ultra HD Foundation Sticks | ABH Contour Kit in Light | Anastasia Moonchild Glow Kit | ABH DipBrow Dark Brown | Kat Von D Tattoo Liner Mad Max Brown | Rimmel Scandal Eyes Kohl in Brown| Maybelline Color Tattoo in Creamy Beige | ABH Noir Shadow |Anastasia Liquid Lipstick in Veronica | House of Lashes Boudoir Lash
The second look was basically me just wishing it was fall already so I can get back to the colors I like. But actually when I paired it with a summer appropriate outfit (in the interest of not dying of heat exhaustion in the streets, ya know?) I felt like it looked out of place and wound up switching to a new lip. I think I used ABH Dusty Rose, but at least now we know that the eye look is versatile…and also that I am not a summer person.

And ironically the last look is me completely giving in to the summer heat and refusing to wear eyeshadow or even dry my hair for that matter. Sometimes you just have to give in. I am however pretty smitten with this lip color. It’s a new release from Lena Cosmetics (they are still on pre-order but I will link it anyway) The color is called Tony and if you are looking for a bright pink that gives off cool-girl vibes rather than Barbie realness then I think this color is perfect. The formula is extremely matte, but still pretty comfortable to wear and the whole line is really affordable too. I dig it.
