Just like any bride to be, in my quest to check off as much things of my to-do list, I went on a hunt for a Florist that’s going to be able to bring my wedding dreams to life. It wasn’t an easy pursuit, it was a difficult search because there is a huge selection out there. I’ve heard some of my friends rave about A Better Florist, a relatively new online florist in Singapore that promises to do just what its namesake promises; quality florals at attractive prices with fast, convenient delivery. They’ve even landed on the list of Top 10 Florists in Singapore despite being a young start-up.
I decided to put their claims to the test as it was just a week to my wedding and I needed to decorate my home. First impressions I actually found the website really easy to navigate through. Choose from 2 catergories of Signature Blooms (their premium stunning inhouse creations) or Farmer’s Choice (gorgeous seasonal flowers that come fresh off the farms).
What I really appreciate is that there are no confusing messages and large databases of flower arrangements and bouquets you can’t scroll through. It’s nice to know that all their flowers are grown on a farm in Cameron Highlands, and based on what flowers are the freshest; their offering on the website either grows or gets smaller.
Being ever the value vulture that I am, I was pleasantly surprised to find that their prices are surprisingly inexpensive as compared to other florist sites such as ExpressFlowers. I settled for the rustic Alya Bouquet which consists of 5 cheery sunflowers with white spring blooms. ABetterFlorist offers better value with its $68 nett pricetag in comparison to ExpressFlowers’s $70+ (excluding a $15 delivery fee) ; and by signing up for their mailing list, I even get to enjoy $5 off the final bill…how’s that for great savings?
My little bundle of happiness arrived within a couple of days, wrapped up in a cute burlap packaging. But what blew me away is how thoughtful they were, by attaching a how-to care card and small packet of flower food to extend the longevity of my blooms.
I must say I do love their style and arrangements of blooms; but if you prefer bespoke creations then you can contact their happiness team at all times to discuss the arrangements and bouquets you might need. They are a small team, but highly professional, outstandingly creative and super helpful. Another great perk is that you are able to get the same day delivery. Not tomorrow, not in their convenient time, but in a time that’s convenient to you.
Furthermore, its great that they don’t avoid the busiest times of the year either. Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, birthdays, weddings, they cater to all. Here’s just a little peek at what they currently have an offer, isn’t it dreamy?

They’ve also recently expanded their operations, so flower aficionados in Hong Kong and Dubai can now enjoy their high quality blooms and excellent service. They are totally able to suit your personal taste and needs, which is exactly what I need for the most special day of my life.
