What to Know About Attending Made in America Festival + FireFly

Hearing the words "Tickets on Sale Now" never sounded so good. The two biggest music festivals to hit the area: Made in America Festival and Firefly, are back this year with amazing lineups! If you're not sure which one to go to or are interested in both, here's what you need to know to help plan your weekend!

Made in America takes place in Philadelphia, PA on Labor Day weekend September 4 & 5 right on Ben Franklin Parkway. Tickets are $150 and includes admission for both days with doors opening at 12 noon each day. All ages are welcome to attend, but 21+ is only permitted in certain areas such as the Beer Gardens. Also if you brought tickets in 2020, your ticket will be valid for 2021! Part of the line was announced today which included headliners Justin Bieber and Lil' Baby, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Rich, Bobby Shmurda, Baby Keem, Lil' Dark, A$AP Ferg, Moneybagg Yo, Freddie Gibbs, Tinashe, Morray, 42 Dugg, EST Gee and more to be announced. Since this is their 10th anniversary show, I'm expecting some surprises and special guests, so I'm very excited for this! If you plan on traveling by car look forward to paying high prices to park in a lot, which maybe expensive, but recommended since reclaiming your vehicle from the Philadelphia Parking Authority will run you wayyy more then you'd like. If you're interested in staying the weekend in Philadelphia, check out my previous blog post on how I score the best hotels at the lowest prices here.

Firefly takes place in The Woodlands in Dover, DE starting on Thursday, September 23 to Sunday, September 26. Headliners include Billie Eilish, The Killers, Tame Impala, and Lizzo with many more artists to come! Weekend passes are currently sold out (but a waitlist is available), however single day tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10AM! So if you are interested in going, don't miss out on this opportunity!  The festival welcomes all ages. General admission is free from those 8 and under, while 2 and under is free for VIP. Attendees under 17 must be present with someone over the age of 18. Parking is available for $10 a day with overnight parking starting at $40 a day. The fest runs from 3PM-Midnight Wednesday and 12 Noon to 2AM Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The festival is rain or shine so definitely keep an one on the weather before heading out. There are also tents and campsites from camping to clamping available to rent on site, for more information click here.
