We met the Woman behind RK Designs back in 2010 during the Bahrain Fashion Week. We remember seeing her walk in to the venue where we did the press conference in a caped abaya with a turban on. She demanded attention in a very regal way. From that day, we never forgot about Reem Al Kanhal.
So can you imagine the excitement in our faces when we got the invitation a few weeks back announcing her Exhibition in Ara Gallery? We were like kids in a candy store.
And so we marked our calendars and didnt miss going to her exhibition called FLY AWAY.
You can see humming birds and crows on her clothes, capes and winged shoulders, acrylic feather and metallic belts on her latest collection. We Love the theme and we always love any fierce woman who dares to break boundaries. Did we mention she is Saudi?
