Wet n Wild Rainbow Highlighter: Is it worth it?

You guys. I was so stoked to see that Wet n Wild produced a Rainbow Highlighter! I waited patiently for it to come back in stock when I could get to it - and I was finally able to snag it! It was only $5.99! ...but how does it stack up? How's the pigmentation? I got those answers right here!

When I ordered, I included this fan brush. It's an online exclusive, and it's recommended for this highlighter. It's flat and wide, and when brushed across the palette, it picks up all the colors! Unfortunately, the colors don't translate on to the skin that way. The brush would pick up the highlighter, but when I'd brush it on my skin, it wouldn't show up. But isn't so pretty!

To get the colors to show, I had to swatch via my finger. I swiped each color, a few times, to produce these shades on my arm. They aren't very pigmented at all. They do build, but it's still not much. Maybe I'm not doing something right. But this was the only way I could get the color to show up. At least you can tell there are 6 different colors :)

I don't regret buying this, mostly because it was so cheap. I just wish I could've had a little more color pay-off. Oh well, for the price, you really can't expect miracles.

**DISCLAIMER** I was not paid for this review by anyone. I either purchased these products myself or was given it as a gift.
