I am very excited to share with to you an experience, which I had the pleasure to be part of this weekend - the Women Designed for Success Awards 2016.
The main purpose of the awards is to celebrate and encourage successful women around the world, acknowledging the achievements of ladies in different professional areas, who have excelled at what they do and are setting an example for all of us to follow.
The event was held in Helsinki, Caisa culture center and it was a truly an international gathering with present guests from 15 countries.
The Women Designed for Success Awards's judges are also highly esteemed professionals from across the globe, who evaluate all candidates and select the winning ladies of the year.
Apart from celebrating the achievements of successful ladies from all around the world, the gala event was an excellent opportunity to get dazzled by glamorous outfits and gowns. So much fun to watch! I could hardly catch up taking pictures of all the ladies but managed to capture some of the outfits to share with you.
I myself chose to go with a simple black jumpsuit to contrast the richly decorated outfits of the nominees.
I got the chance to take a shot with Neha Gupta, Misses India Europe, she was also one of the hostesses of the event. She looked glamorous in her purple dress!
Managed to catch one of the lovely ladies who does the creative work behind the scenes for the event. I do think she is meant to be in front of the camera.
The star of the show for me was Josephine Atanga, a true Golden woman and Founder Executive of Women Designed for Success. She was also a hostess of the show and dazzled us all with charisma and her bold outfit which grabbed all the attention. I am afraid my pictures could not do her justice.
Present was also the beautiful Miss India Europe Karishma Sood
Adity Kochhar, my charming colleague from Industrial News Service, wore a beautiful soft pink gown.
Already from the get-go I had difficulties capturing all the pretty fashions on the red carpet. Here are some of them I would love to share with you.
The gala event was a mixture of cultures and the program included ethnic dances from different parts of the world, a fashion show of Indian Sari and, of course, the ceremony for selecting the winners of the Golden Women award.
I was honored to have the chance to present the award for Young Achiever, together with Adity Kochhar and Rita Kostama, one of the winners from Women designed for Success 2015.
