Happy New Year!

I was really keen to start of 2018 with a pop of bright COLOUR, and think I’ve pulled it off pretty darn well. Plus, it features beanbags, so that totally makes the whole thing even more charming, don’t you think? (I sure hope so!)

Much like every other blogger everywhere, I get really excited about all things colourful. We don’t own a car, so generally colourful sightings are reduced to a blur as we dash past in our taxi. You can bet that things are extra thrilling when we have a camera in hand and can actually TAKE PHOTOS of said colourful spot.

Luckily, we stayed at a delightfully bright spot in Phuket, by the name of Nook Dee. The pool was an absolute babe, but the colourful rooftops paired with insane views are what really got me. And luckily we captured it all on camera. Score!

Barnaby and myself spent a few days relaxing here at the Nook Dee. The hotel itself was actually really charming in a totally quirky way. I took a video for my YouTube channel, which you can see above, as well as some photos of our room. Who knows, if you’re passing through Kata Beach, Phuket, you might really enjoy a visit too!

The Hotel: Nook Dee Boutique Resort

I’m always a sucker for a cute hotel, and the Nook Dee totally checks all of the boxes. My favourite thing, minus the pool – seriously, that thing was fantastic, were the rabbits and elephants that followed you everywhere you went. A little soppy, but there’s always a point when we go on holiday where I end up missing my beloved antique toy panda that I cuddle every night.. having this similar-sized elephant waiting for me in my room definitely helped make the heartbreak a little easier! ; )
