How similar are you and your daughter? Share with us how both of you are alike in terms of character and mannerisms.

We are both extremely high energy. We love to dance, act silly, and have a similar sense of humor. We are also sensitive, kind hearted, stubborn and extremely possessive over the ones we love.

Children love showing their creativity in a variety of ways, from their uninhibited confidence to their imaginative play. How do you keep up with your daughter’s imagination?

My daughter personally loves to draw and paint. I always get her colouring books and paint so she can express herself freely. I encourage her to hone her creativity by telling her how beautiful her work is.

How has your daughter inspired your creative processes?

She has inspired me in my designs for my clothing brand. We have now started designing turbans for kids, so that mother and daughter can wear matching styles. We will hopefully start producing matching outfits for mothers and daughters soon.

Juggling your passion and your family is a challenge. How do you do it?

I try my best to split my time between work and my children. Motherhood is a 24/7 job, so whatever time I have in between, will be dedicated to work.
