Happy #BacktoBasics Monday This is actually the final back to basics post……. this was a month long series and it’s the last Monday of the month!! Let me know if I should bring it back sometime. For those that may not know, I work in Public Relations so I’m at an office everyday. Thankfully, it’s a small firm and the environment is very laid back and casual. I’m personally allowed to wear leggings as long as I wear them appropriately but I know that’s not the case for every one. BUT, if you are allowed to wear leggings, I’m sharing 4 ideas on how to style.

P. S. These pics are all inside my apartment building, Park East!! For the first way I styled, a basic tee with a vest. The tee when tied, becomes a little cropped but my vest covers my booty so it works. I also paired with these OTK boots which I feel like dresses the leggings up a lot and almost looks like I’m just wearing black pants.

My personal favorite look and way to Style Leggings. I styled with a cute cropped cami. I couldn’t wear this alone so I paired with a long duster. Immediately makes the whole look appropriate and also easy to where if you plan girls night afterwards, you can take the cardi off and rock the cami alone underneath. I slipped on these mules with a little heel too to add a little extra work vibes to this look. My cami is from my sweet friends boutique, shop Aria Rose.

A super put together look that looks professional. I have the most comfortable basic long sleeve on and it’s got a longer back so it covers the bum. I added this coat/cardigan to it that is super warm and looks very put together for work. Almost gives off a blazer look to it as well. Add in a cute pair of mules or these basic heels and voila, work appropriate.

Final look!! A very easy, casual look. This would be perfect for a lazy Friday or such or for a day you snoozed the alarm one too many times hah! I styled an oversized sweater that has a longer back as well. With the OTK boots to dress it up a little so I don’t look too lazy. Literally just 3 easy pieces to throw on and no one will suspect you woke up late This is my GO-TO outfit on days I just can’t wake up. Which is basically every day HAHA.
I think the key to making leggings work in an office is with tops that cover your bottom. Also dressing your whole look up with a little heel and some accessories really just raise a pair of leggings you may lounge in, to the next level. Thanks for reading y’all! SUPER FUN post coming on Wednesday
