Curl Up and Have a Perfect Fall Movie Night

One of my favorite things to do this time of year (any time of year really) is curl up, grab a warm beverage and some popcorn, and watch a Movie. Having an amazing movie night isn't as simple as picking one out and watching, today I'm going to share with you the necessary elements.

The Set-up

So first you have to start by setting the mood, you can make this process as simple or as elaborate as you would like. If you want to go all out get a movie projector ! They are usually under 100 dollars, and you can find projectors that are even compliant with the Amazon Fire Stick, so you can have access to all your favorites! Hang a bed sheet on the wall, and your all set! Here are some other things you may want:

- blankets

- pillows

- hot chocolate

- fuzzy socks

- comfy PJs

- popcorn bowl

The Food

Now that you've got the atmosphere covered, lets go over the most important detail, the food! To have a truly successful movie night multiple types of yummy snacks are essential. For a great movie night dinner you could use the old standby of pizza, however some other great Fall options include baked potato soup, pumpkin alfredo, and chicken pot pie casserole. This should of course be accompanied by appropriately salted and buttered popcorn, loaded nachos, and candies of your choosing. For dessert, a couple of favs are pumpkin muffins and Harry Potter inspired mini-pies.

The Movie

Finally, arguably the most important element, although I think they all are, the movie. There are many many different choices to get you in the fall mood. Here's a list of ideas:

- It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown

- When Harry Met Sally

- Hocus Pocus

- Halloweentown

- The Nightmare Before Christmas

- Corpse Bride

- Ghostbusters

 - E. T.

- Haunted Mansion

- Ghostbusters

- Coraline

- The Addams Family

- The Munsters

- Gilmore Girls

- ALL of the Harry Potter movies

- Beetlejuice

- Twitches

- The Goonies

- Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

- Casper

- Stranger Things

- Twin Peaks

- Good Will Hunting

- You've Got Mail

- Sleepless in Seattle

- Sleepy Hollow

.... and there you have it, the recipe for a Perfect Fall date night or girls night in!

Enjoy!

xx,
