Winter Wonderland Nails

I know I sometimes complain about the cold Alberta winters but looking out my window inspired me.

The trees were so beautiful with snow covered branches.

It is a super simple design and the only tool you need is a toothpick.

Here is what you need:
- BaseCoat
- White Nail Polish
- Dark Blue Nail Polish
- Black Nail Polish
- Glitter Nail Polish
- Toothpick
- TopCoat

Step 1:
Apply a base coat to protect the nails and prevent the nail polish from chipping. Apply the Dark blue polish.

Step 2:
Apply white polish to the tip of the nails, leaving unbalanced lines. This will give the look of snow banks. Let completely dry.

Step 3:
Using a toothpick or a dotting tool dipped in a Black polish, make a long triangle down the nail.

Step 4:
Using a toothpick lightly dipped in white polish, gently dab small lines in the triangle. You don’t want too much nail polish on the toothpick. It’s kind of like dotting but with hardly any polish on the tool.

Step 5:
Apply a few white dots for falling snow. Apply a glitter polish to the nails.

Step 6:
Apply a generous amount of top coat to protect your manicure and give it a glossy shine.
