Stating that I've had a 'blogger's block' would be an understatement. I don't think there's anyone out there who checks on my blog regularly so I don't need to apologise for the month break I've taken from Blogging. I've been extremely happy this month and got to eat delicious food and create some wonderful memories in India with my boyfriend. We climbed up the Amer Fort, visited The Taj Mahal, crossed roads in India which felt like playing Russian roulette, survived a near car crash at 90 kph (Avoid UberX's in India if you can as they rarely come with seat belts!), and visited five states in less than two weeks. We're currently playing with my beautiful dog Spike, who is obsessed with my boyfriend and I've watched the two cuddle and play with each other a lot over the past four days. He flew all the way to India with his mother to see the Taj Mahal and other spots in the New Delhi area, and finally meet my family. He fits right in my family and they have bonded over their love for the same kind of food, and mocking me, which makes me very happy as I can't believe my luck in meeting such a wonderful human being that I'll hopefully get to grow old with.
In all honesty, I stopped blogging as I didn't enjoy it for the past month. I struggled with growth on here and my confidence plummeted as I didn't see the blog growing at all. I'm aware I'm not the best writer and I don't fit in society's standards of what a woman should look like, but I started this as a hobby to keep my mind off things when I was extremely unhappy. If it grows, that'd be great and will give a sense of personal achievement, but if it doesn't I'd live. I didn't pick up the violin as a child expecting to be a classical violinist but merely started playing it as a hobby. That's the same way I feel about blogging - I don't expect to be featured anywhere, or have a blog that has tens of thousands of unique visitors. I'm going to continue blogging to shut off negative thoughts in my head, and use it as an outlet to talk about things that interest me.
I have a few travel and beauty related posts queued up from Sunday. I'm aware no one really reads this, but please do let me know if there are any specific Indian Travel related posts you'd like to read or would be helpful to you? I hope you all have a great weekend nonetheless
