These highlighters are very 2015/2016 - so its shiny, makes you look like you've got a lot of highlight on, but is buildable enough to take you from work to a friday night out.At no point did I think I'd purchase an Iridescent Highlighter, but after falling in love with the MAC Extra Dimension Blushes, I was keen on trying out a highlighter from the range.
Undertones | This highlighter complements my Skin perfectly, as it has yellow undertones but with a metallic sheen. Application with a fan brush works best if you're looking for a more understated highlight as it takes off A LOT of the glitter if you dust it off, but overall this highlight is buildable. This is the perfect highlighter if you have tan to dark skin.
Texture & Application | This is obviously a powder, but of a creamy texture that has very little fall out. I did try this out at the MAC Store in Duty Free to see how it'd apply, and it was right up my street. It applies like a dream, is blendable and does not make your face patchy!
Pigmentation | You get your money's worth with this product, since you need a tiny amount of highlight to last you a long way. If does seem quite metallic from the second application. Oh,Darling also works beautifully as an eyeshadow.
Longetivity | This lasted me for five and a half hours on a hot and humid day and until seven hours till it completely faded off.
Is this worth the splurge? | This ticks all of the boxes for a good highlighter, and has quickly turned to be my favourite highlighter at the moment (I prefer it to Becca!!). MAC Extra Dimension Skin Finish have other highlighters in the same range which may complement other skin tones better as well. Please have a look at the links in the US and UK Options below.
