I am back with another indulgent and luxurious Bath and Body Range and this time it’s none other than Nyassa.

I picked up Nyassa’s Divine Lotus Light Body Lotion and the handmade soap.  So let’s see how it fares.

About Nyassa:

It’s an amazing brand and the products are 100% Vegetarian and handmade. They have a wide array of lotions, hair care products, soaps, bath salts, shower gels, etc. Nyassa has its origin in a Sanskrit word that means healing through touch to achieve a divine body.

Packaging:

This soap is packed in a clear plastic cover without any outer carton. It has a white paper covering it’s center with all the product details.

Review:

The soap has luxurious Lotus smell. The smell is divine and I could actually sniff the soap bar all day. The fragrance is the first thing that will catch your attention; my bathroom smells gorgeous all day! The rectangular bar comes in a pretty pink color!

The bar is a little too big than the regular soaps but that’s what gives a luxurious feel to it. You can cut the soap in two pieces to avoid wastage!

Once I started using I could immediately feel that my skin was highly moisturized: it literally glides on the skin like butter. It lathers up nicely so it does its job of cleaning the body well.  Once you are out of the shower you will actually smell splendid. The fragrance lasts for good two hours but you can maximize the longevity by applying the body lotion from the same range.

The only issue with the soap is that it’s a tad bit expensive but we do sometimes indulge in a little treat! Don’t we?  So go ahead and pamper yourself a little with this Divine Lotus range from Nyassa

The bottle has a pump to dispense the lotion and you can twist the cap around to lock it and prevent the lotion from spilling!

 Review:

In terms of consistency, the lotion is quick thick and buttery that would work best on normal to dry skin. I usually apply in just after the shower when the skin is slightly damp so the lotion gets absorbed quickly. The moisturising effect lasts for almost the entire day.

The Lotion contains Lotus extracts which is a moisturising and toning agent while wheatgerm oil is high on Vitamin E which promotes skin cell growth. So it does give intense hydration while giving a youthful glow. If definitely makes my skin soft, supple and smooth.

The fragrance is of mild lotus flower which is quite pleasing and feminine. The smell lingers for couple of hours before it fades away.

Overall it’s a pretty nice product and I am currently loving it. If you have oily skin then it might be a tad bit heavy on your skin otherwise it’s a wonderful product for normal to dry skin which can be used all around the year.
