Each year Lakme Fashion Week has been surprising us with its elegant designer couture. Celebrities who are none other than bollywood biggies slay the runaway with their impeccable dressing sense.

It’s just four days since the most awaited fashion event has started. Most of all we’ve started looking at some of the best sophisticated Lehengas to gorgeous designer gown ensembles!

Few of the eminent personalities like Aditya Rao Hyadri, Sushmita Sen, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Tamanna Bhatiah, Kalki Koechilin, Sonakshi Sinha, Tapasse Pannu and not to miss out on the the mother-daughter duo Sridevi and Jahnvi Kapoor – make our heart to skip a beat!

Let’s take a sneak-peak of few of those collections,

The Kapoor Sisters

Kareena Kapoor Khan closed this year’s LFW editions by being a perfect showstopper for Anamika Khanna’s designer outfit. She looks ethereal in a black cropped top and a matching skirt teamed up with a belt. Her sister Karisma Kapoor was seen dressed in a breath-taking white silver embroidered lehenga choli for that perfect soiree!

The Padmavati Rockstar

When it comes to ethnic fashion, both the ace designer Sabysachi and the star celebrity stunner Deepika made a good pair.

This year too, she made heads-turn looking ethereal every bit in the wallpaper collection saris!

The duo teamed up for #SabysachForNilaya – a range of designer wallpapers called ‘Nilaya’ by Asian Paints. She is seen carefully designed in the peach-pink heritage benarasi saree with mayori border to looking graceful in an off-white six yards – she’s just a beauty!

The Queen of The Ramp

The former beauty queen Susmita Sen was looking breath takingly beautiful in a glittering lehenga choli with intricate chikankari work. She slayed the ramp on the hit song Umrao Jaan and In Aankhon Ki Masti. The lehenga was designed by brand Kotwara by Meera and Muzaffar Ali.

Redefining Black

Sonakshi Sinha and Karan Johar turned showstoppers for celebrity designer Falguni and Shane Peacock at Lakme Fashion Wee 2018.

Sonakshi was looking hep in a embroidered jacket, fluid pants and a bralet, while Karan looked all pompous in a stylish silver/black embellished jacket with white striped pants.

His grey pepper look (silver hair) and a black ear stud – has been the recent reason for twitterati!

The Stunning Diva

We the fashion freaks cant even think a fashion event without her. She is giving us so many fashion goals from the beginning. Yes, I am talking about the very beautiful Shilpa Shetty Kundra. She rocked the ramp wearing a pearl grey lehenga by designer Jayanti Reddy. The lehenga has detailed embroidery work and ruffles of the dupatta have added an extra oomph to her look. She accessorized the look with a loose bun and jade chocker. I must say, watching her was a treat to the eyes.

Mother-Daughter Fashion Duo

The newbie in Bollywood who’s none other than Janhvi is slowly stepping into her mom’s fashion shoes and she’s nailing every bit of it!

She looked classy in a chic business suit style, paired with an embroidered top and well-fitted pants set.

Unlike her mother Sridevi, she kept her look simple opting for a dewy make-up and rounded off this look of hers with Amrapali Jewels and strappy heels.

The ‘sanskaari-couple’ Shahid and Mira

Renewing their marriage vows to being snagged as the most sanskari couple of B town at HT awards 2018 – they were smiling all ears at the LFW 2018 donned in white ethnics!

Mira Rajput looked ethereal in a floral printed lehenga with minimal makeup while her better half looked all dapper in a white Bandhgala fitted pants and shoes.
