Bayside Shopping Centre Frankston on Friday night, Straighty and I decide to go on a little spotting trip, ‘Oh what an experience it was’. Waded through a lot of “lackadaisical effort” – will come back to where I just saw this word used in a later blog, so many tracksuit pants, sneakers, loose, ill-fitting jeans and t-shirts and just blergh! There were some absolute gems though, ladies that just strutted through that centre with an absolute ownership of their particular sense of style.

It was Straighty that spotted the first gem, some oversized Sunnies teamed with some bright red lippy, this gal was rocking in a black number that was really doing it for her.

The whole focus of our little trip was as I said spotting, but there we were, not a notebook between us and I didn’t even have a pen on my person, so we needed to do a quick stationary shop. We ducked into Smiggle and it was just the start of our fun evening. Katie laid eyes on a ‘Fluffy Locker’, one of Smiggle's great little products, it took me a minute to figure out just why Straighty was laughing so hard, okay sometimes I’m a little slow on the uptake. Then I noticed the strategically positioned, at least I thought, was what we both theorised as a great little accompaniment to the ‘Fluffy Locker’ which was the ‘Jet Spray Speaker’. I will let the pics below guide your imagination, as it did ours. We gave the high priced Notebooks and Pens a miss though and decided on a purchase elsewhere for these.

We then dropped into Streetwear Fashions, where we browsed through the racks and found ourselves loaded up with some items to try on, Straighty had an armful and proceeded into a fitting room cubicle. I tried the next cubicle door and on finding it locked, I was encouraged by Straighty to ask the shop assistant to unlock it for me, he obliged me without any judgement on spotting the two dresses I had in my possession…..oh wait I haven’t introduced myself properly yet, yes did point out I am a bit slow on the uptake at times.

Okay, that’s right, this is my Intro post. Straighty has probably already hinted at it, or nailed me, yes I love dropping euphemisms. I am Katie a Transgender Female, seen at times dressed in Guy guise, call me Queer, call me Bent, call me anything you like, if you do it in a friendly way, if not, I will let you know.

Back in the centre, we then wandered in to Safeway and I couldn’t resist when looking at stationary on buying myself a couple of ‘Bic for Her’ Pens in Pink and Purple, so cute. Then in the food court we grabbed a bite to eat and saw some more cool Sunnies, oversized and Peach coloured, teamed with a Navy Blue floral patterned top and Black Cardigan along with some cute Black leggings and a Bleach White short hairstyle, I must have had style envy at that stage, (thinking I could so rock that outfit to myself.)

Anyway, must be off and post this, looking forward to posting lots more though, I may even get a bit more of my post content directly relating to styling, though don’t count on it, mwah, stay stylish!

Katie.
