Whenever I go out on the streets of Mumbai for my shoot, I am always inspired and have a definite look and concept in mind. I have an idea as to how and what I want to display to my readers as well as something that I would be extremely proud of.
It is completely surprising but I have come a long way and I am more hungry than ever for more content, more creativity and more ideas. I know that the nature would never disappoint me. There are so many beautiful architectural buildings, beautiful graffiti, the normal walk of life in this ever so bustling city that will always be the backdrop for my creations.
But there is always so much that I can do and when I decided to shoot for this geometrical wonder I felt absolutely uninspired and unsure. I hated that feeling of entering into a zone which I am unaware about and not feeling passionate at all. When the time arrived, I donned this outfit and legit traveled the lanes of Versova to find something which would do some justice to this colorful number.
When I saw this beautiful bright wall with some geometrical goodness, something just called out to me and I discovered the beauty in the detailed shapes and sizes present on the wall. The Pastel Maxi Dress contrasts with the bright colorful wall but in some way compliments each other because of the geometrical pattern. Just like life, it's different but yet similar in many ways.
I decided to keep the essence of the Dress Intact because the pastel blues with black stripes brings out the simplicity and beauty of this piece as well as compliments the gorgeous clouds during monsoon.
If one wants to keep the integrity of the dress intact but wants to offer some change, just simply throw on a Denim Jacket. In this case I went ahead with a grey jacket as it continues with the entire contrast them and doesn't take much away from the dress.
Finish it off with a chic pair of black heels ( you can never go wrong with a pair of black heels) and keep the makeup and hair minimal.
