Creating Family Traditions with Stella Artois

Ever since I was little I dreamed about living near the ocean. As I grew older, I kept imagining how amazing it would be to be able to relax on the beach after a long day with a cozy picnic and a cold beer while watching the sunset.

Now that I live in Florida, and the beach is literally minutes away in any direction, I was able to make this dream come true and I was so happy to have the opportunity to share this all with you.

Even though it’s already November, the temperatures have been nice enough to allow me to enjoy picnics on the beach to this hour. I would argue that for us now is the time when it’s the best to be outdoors all the time, because the humidity has dropped considerably and the heat doesn’t feel quite as oppressive as it does during peak summer days.

Harvest Time

Of course, there is still the feeling of fall and harvest lingering in the air, especially when we’re talking about Thanksgiving and Veteran’s Day when it’s the best time to get together with friends and family either for a tasty barbecue by the pool side or in the back yard to tell jokes and stories fueled by a lovely Stella Artois.

Stella Artois has been one of my favorite beers ever since I was living in Europe, when my brother and I used to go to quaint little terraces and sit under a large canopy of trees at sunset and talk about our dreams and plans for the future. It was back then when I started thinking of how great it would be to live somewhere where I can sit under palm trees and listen to the ocean waves and enjoy long chats just like we did there. And even though distance doesn’t allow us to see each other as often as we used to, every time we finally get together, Stella Artois never misses from our table.

For those of you who do not know, Stella Artois is a beer born in Belgium in the year 1926 and is named after the Christmas Star, hence the name “Stella”. It was originally sold only in the winter season around Christmas time, but as the years passed, it became available year round.

So to keep the family tradition going, I always love to enjoy a Stella while watching the sunset and taking time to reflect on the past and the future near the people I hold the most dear. How are you enjoying your Stella?
