I've posted about my Favourite Products of 2017, but what about those that I was not impressed with? Here is my list of the products that really let me down.

Lise Watier Smokey Nudes Eyeshadow Palette

I really wanted to like this Palette as it looked so pretty with some great shades, but no, it was not to be. The mattes are much better than the satins as they have much more pigmentation and blend really nicely. In my opinion, the satins are definitely inferior to the mattes. I ended up returning this palette to Shoppers Drug Mart. Read my review here
 

Ciate London x Chloe Morello Pretty, Fun & Fearless Eyeshadow Palette

I really wanted this palette when it was released the previous year, but unfortunately it was not available at my local Sephora and I never found it available on the website in Canada. So, I was pleased when it was rereleased last year, but it didn't live up to my expectations. My full review can be found here. 

Kat Von D MetalMatte Mini Eyeshadow Palette

This was my last purchase of 2017 and one I really wanted from the moment I knew about its impending release. I missed out on the original full size MetalMatte palette,so this would have been my consolation prize. However, I was not very happy with it. Read my review here. 

New Wash by Hairstory

This product was sent to be as part of a survey of people using this for the first time. It is a new concept of shampoo and I was really hoping that it would give my fine hair much more body. Unfortunately, I ended up being allergic to it and had to stop the trial.  Here is my story. 

That sums up my bitter disappointments for 2017. You may or may not agree, but we can't all love everything, can we?
