Firefox Introduces a New Version For Virtual Reality

Firefox Introduces A New Version For Virtual Reality

Mozilla has come up with its new version of Firefox browser for standalone virtual as well as the headsets for augmented reality. This is been called up as Firefox Reality, and Mozilla is currently describing it as a Cross-platform, open source as well as a browser that is power friendly browser which has an interface specialized for the headsets.

An earlier demo of it is made available in the working condition in HTC Vive Focus, however, it has not been made public yet, and Mozilla has also not clarified about the headsets that will be a support to this technology.

The Demo for Firefox Reality  could make it look like a traditional Browser, however it is the one that is streamline and floats like a virtual void. Mozilla Has also come up with an introductory video, that demonstrates a personal navigating through various pages and scrolling with the help of a simple VR  controller, however, they seem to have small troubles regarding the buttons as well as the pointers. However, the version that has been developed by Mozilla looks pretty ambitious.

How  would you type? How  would you express your emotions? How  would the billions of existing 2D web pages as well as the new 3D contents be visible  to your device? Also, how would you communicate?

Who would map out the world and what controls would you be seeing? How would  you be able to build on your network with the help of voice recognition and connect device to have a better browsing experience?

All  of these questions are really being considered by Mozilla, and they are working constantly to find out the right answers.

The  headset makers have already reached up to that level where will they are developing browsers for individual platforms, for instance Oculus  released a browser for the gear VR, Google  has its own platform for Daydream, and Microsoft  has been putting its edge browser into the home space( Windows Mixed Reality).

Well, you can also having access to the traditional  browsers with the help of the VR desktop apps.

But, Mozilla is working on such a condition that wants people to use the Firefox reality for same set of reasons that they have been using Firefox in their  computers.

However, it is not specific to any of the headset brand, and is also not done by a company that is known for harvesting the user data such as Facebook or Google.

Firefox Reality,  is supposed to be a reflection of the advancing performances that Firefox has with its speedy Quantum Browser.

The VR  browsers I thought as portals for the two-dimensional web pages, however this is not what they are good for.

They also,  I am going to launched the full VR experience is a 360 videos that can be hosted online, with the help of the standard Web VR,  that was launched by Firefox last year.

Mozilla at this time is adding confidence, and bringing up open next to the series of relatively Walter and specific platforms build-up for VR views. Let us  now see how this process is taken further.
