How to Efficiently Showcase a Website as a Web Designer

Within a big internet community of web designers, a person asked how they could record a website in order to showcase it. They want to do it in a fancier way than just screenshots. They like videos that pause on carousel panels. They wondered if there is an app or a widget to make a video like that in a minimal amount of time.

One person suggested that the original Poster use Loom. This is a Chrome extension that should do exactly what the original poster is asking. The original poster replied that they already had it and were using it, but the transitions were not smooth enough. The bumpy transitions made their video look unprofessional.

Another person suggested taking a Screen Shot and barely moving the cursor, then taking another screen shot and repeating this in order to make a digital flip book. The original poster replied that would take a long time, and they did not think it would deliver the professional results they desire. A few people joked about this, and the commentator who suggested it followed it up with a statement that they were just joking.

An individual made a recommendation for the OBS tool. Somebody else said the original poster should use a tool called After Effects. A different person said that the original poster should just make an animation of what they are trying to showcase. This would create the smooth transitions they desire, and it would be easier to post and share the animation. Animations can also be edited with a minimum of fuss, and there are a lot of programs and tools for making different animations on all of the operating systems.

Commentators gave the original poster three viable options, and in the end they went with QuickTime for recording part of the screen. They followed this with smooth key scroll extension on Chrome. It uses both regular and skip scrolling functions. After this, they implemented iMovie to put together all of the page recordings with a simple slide transition between each page in order to make it a smooth viewing setup.
