WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT FROM THE REST?
Craftrina is a marketplace for makers, by makers—it’s as simple as that. Craftrina is not a marketplace where Mass Produced or print on demand items are listed for sale. That’s not who we are and that’s not what we represent.
Crafters/makers pour their hearts and souls into their handmade products and they deserve to be recognized for that (not fighting to stay a float thousands upon thousands of mass produced products.
It’s not just about the sellers either. Customers looking for legit handmade products don’t want to search through a sea of mass produced items either.
It costs nothing to open a shop.
$ .15 (yes, fifteen cents) per listing (which is charged once your item sells) and there are no listing renewal fees. Think of this fee in terms of renting a space.
Craftrina doesn’t pocket a portion of your profit. You keep 100% of your profits (after all, you are the one who made it).
You are allowed to have a subscribers list which allows you to stay connected with loyal customers (right from your shop page). In other words, your earnings aren’t being drastically cut by only relying on Craftrina’s marketing alone. Subscriber lists equal more money!
You can connect your social media accounts to your shop.
The ability to offer add on options.
We’re a brand new, smaller marketplace.
HEY, BUT DON’T YOU EARN MORE MONEY AND TRAFFIC ON LARGER MARKETPLACES?
It’s often thought that selling on a larger marketplace platform is better for getting more traffic and making more money. More traffic and making more money may be the case for certain large marketplaces and their top sellers, but unfortunately, that’s not always true for new sellers.
Did you know that Etsy currently has 1.9 million Etsy sellers and over 50 million items listed for sale on Etsy? If that’s not struggling to compete, then we don’t know what is.
With over 50 million products being sold at any given time, how easily are a new sellers items found? The consequence to so many sellers and listed items? New sellers end up pricing their products ridiculously low in hopes of drawing in buyers. This results in very low or no profit at all, so why even bother?
Craftrina wants to offer sellers a fresh new, affordable start.
Craftrina is set to launch at the end of June 2018.
