Hey, guys. So last year, I downloaded a copy of the Metro-style based Operating System Windows 8. It was a pretty unique and...colorful experience for me. Firstly, the boot screen is very new. Usually, on previous Windows versions, you'll see the good-old logo, with the word "Windows" beside it, along with the version (i.e Windows 7, Windows XP, etc.). Well, here you just get the new tile-based logo.
Very similar to Mac OS X.
|Looks an awful lot like Mac OS X, doesn't it? Pretty interesting, by the way. Really gives me the illusion of being in a dark room, and looking at a window. Hmm...I wonder what's out there?|
Operating System selection screen
Also, the Operating System Selection screen is very different. Instead of the traditional "Command Prompt"-like interface you get when you start up your computer, you get a blue screen that shows you all the OS's installed on your hard drive.

|Pretty cool, I say. Love how the Tiles update themselves. No wonder they're called "Live" Tiles!|
